Description
Poor Trudi, abandoned in Crete, she was luckily taken into foster care, but being an adult, nobody wanted to adopt her. She waited far too long in foster care until one of Chimney Farm's fosters agreed to help her. Trudi is thriving in the UK and adapting well. She can be an only dog and just needs to continue adapting to her new environment.

Where does Trudi sleep at night?
She either sleeps in the lounge or in the spare room next to ours. She sleeps through until 6-7am.
How is Trudi with resident dogs?
Great with the other dogs, very neutral. Will play once she knows them & if invited.
Is Trudi clean indoors?
Yes, no accidents & will whine to go out.
Can Trudi be left alone?
Yes, up to 4 hours, no issues.
Is Trudi out on walks?
Yes, she’s loving her walks, really comes alive. She is quite scent-driven when in woods etc. So will need recall training or lead only walks.
How does Trudi walk on the lead?
Walks well. She loves her walks but is a hound so always nose down on her adventures.
Has Trudi met with other dogs?
Yes, she loves other dogs and we feel she needs another dog in the home as she gets confidence from others. No aggression. Cannot be with cats.
How is Trudi with humans?
Trudi was shy at first, but now loves and enjoys human company.
Any other useful information
Trudi has some prey drive & wants to chase birds & rabbits. She is a hound type, so owners will need to appreciate that recall training will be needed, or on lead walks.
She loves the company of humans. She does like being in a home with another dog so we will only be able to rehome her with another dog in the home. No cats.
What kind of home do you think would be suitable?
Trudi would suit an active house where she will get 2 walks a day.
She’s happy to chill after a walk & loves her sleep.
