Description
Wow, where to start apart from Stitch is the most loving and cuddly boy who never stops playing and entertaining everyone he meets. He loves carrying his toys and treats around with him and snuggles up next to you so tightly. He adores the company of people.
Being a young Dachshund, Stitch is very energetic, eager to explore the world and receive assistance with house training. He is good at sneaking out of areas so any garden must be stitch proof and walked on lead unless in a secure field. Being a lover of people, he will need a gradual build up in his leave time and an owner who loves to be kept busy and want to learn new training techniques.
Stitch would love a home where he is the only animal and meet new dogs when walking. He is a lover of older children and does love having human companionship. He is still so young so his leave time will need to be built up and his home must have a secure garden to call his own.

Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
