Super clever and fun loving boy Rico is searching for his forever home—a place where his playful energy and loving nature can truly shine. This small rescue German Shepherd is a joyful bundle of fun, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a cheeky grin. He just loves people and is friendly with everyone he meets, adores adventures, and thrives on cuddles and companionship. Rico may be little, but his heart is huge—and he’s ready to fill yours with love. Could you be the one to give him the home he’s been dreaming of? 18 month old Rico weighs 17 kilograms and is not expected to grow much bigger, he's like a pint sized German Shepherd.
Rico was found abandoned on the street and taken to safety by our wonderful rescue partners. He was in danger from cars, cruel people and the local dog catchers. Our team saw a post on Social Media and couldn't let this beautiful boy be caught and almost definitely euthanised. Rico is super friendly, cuddly, cheerful, good with other dogs and cats and has been seen to be positive and cuddly with children. Rico walks well on a lead and harness. Rico remains with our kennel partners in Bosnia and will travel (funded by the charity) once he has a foster or adoptive family (donation £450). He comes with a Brucella Canis APHA certificate, full RBU, full vaccinations and a permanent smile.
