Sid
Reluctantly we are looking for a new home for our rescue wired haired pointer sid who we brought over last June from Hungary
He is approx 18 months old and a beautiful dog
So why you ask are we even considering giving up Sid
So here’s the story
We decided he needed a companion so we brought over Eddie , again from Hungary who had been badly treated and thought they would be a perfect match but Eddie it’s just not working and making it difficult to take them out together
We really really don’t want to lose Sid but trying to do the best for both dogs but as Sid is a very confident dog and it has took us 3 months to get Eddie to trust us we thought this was the best option
So about Sid
He is very prey driven ( rabbits ) which as we live in the country it’s not the best place and all the farmers have fell out with us
He is ok with recall and very soft natured
He needs really to be the only dog and someone who has plenty of time to spend with him as he is very dominant and likes to be top dog
He loves being out and about and will follow you around the house like most pointers
We will only let him go to the perfect home
We are asking £500 for him and it’s not about the money but we want to make sure he gets the right people to live with
