Description
Kitty is a beautiful tabby girl who will be 2 years old in August. She came in to rescue after her owner’s circumstances changed. Kitty had been living with one of her kittens but they were not getting on (a common problem). We took her kitten in first, and Kitty came to us a month later. Kitty is a real cutie and her fosterers are really enjoying having her. This is what they say about her:
‘Kitty is, quite simply, a little sweetheart. She may be tiny, but she has a gentle and wonderfully quirky personality.
When her ‘fuss tank’ is empty, you’ll certainly know about it — she’ll be purring right in your face, asking for chin scratches, nose rubs, or rolling on her back for tummy rubs. Once she’s had enough attention however, Kitty prefers to be left alone and may give you a bit of a side-eye if disturbed. She doesn’t often sit on laps, but when she does, she prefers you to have a blanket ready for her to snuggle up on.
Kitty enjoys a good zoom around the house, particularly in the evening. She loves sitting on a windowsill watching the birds and can snore quite loudly! When she’s enjoying a fuss she sometimes makes the sweetest little grunting noises. She isn’t keen on loud noises such as the hairdryer or hoover however has become noticably less jumpy around these over time.
She is comfortable around older children — our 8 year old son has had no issues with her. Kitty is a delightful cat with a truly charming, communicative personality who is thriving in a calm and loving environment. We have no doubt she will make the sweetest companion in the right home.’
Kitty is in foster in Reading.
Rehoming criteria:
- Some experience with cats
- Older children (approx 8 years plus)
- No other cats
- No dogs
- Can be left a working day
- Will need outside access to a garden
The minimum adoption fee is £185 per cat which includes:
- Neutering
- Microchip (there is a small fee to register/ transfer ownership)
- At least the first vaccination
- Up to date flea and worming
- A Pet Remedy new home kit
- 5 weeks free insurance with Agria
- A blanket for a familiar smell
- Ongoing advice and support
