Description
Meet Mavis, a handsome Springer bitch. She is looking for her full time home at 8 months of age.
Mavis was being trained as a working gundog and has shown herself a very happy and energetic girl. However she does not have the aptitude for full-time work and has a poor gait which will prevent her from becoming a working dog.
She is a social little dog, she always wants to investigate everything and is eager to please.
She is being trained to a basic pet level, with the basic concepts coming into place.
She is used to living in a kennel, but will adapt to a crate easily, Of course she is very young and still learning all the time.
Currently training is on increasing focus and her socialising in different situations.
Mavis comes fully vaccinated, microchipped.
She is ready for her new home from the 24th of March. An active and understanding home is a must, Mavis will make a great pet.
All homes will be vetted for suitability.
As part of the package offered there will be a transition period when she is growing accustomed to her new owners and to make sure she is a good match.
This to help the change for her and to smooth the transition, As well as adjusting the training plan to suit the owners needs/requirements.
She is a very characterful girl with specific requirements and needs a owner with experience of spaniels and their ways
