Description
We are looking for a very special lady to meet our wonderful boy, Rafa. He is a 5 year-old German Shepherd from working lines with a heart of gold.
Why we love Rafa (and why you will too!):
Rafa is the ultimate "gentle giant." He is incredibly calm, obedient, and has been raised around children, adults, and livestock. He loves training, his teddies and his natural treats. He is a business owner of his own raw food and natural dog treat shop based in Liverpool.
A little about his journey:
Rafa is a big softie who is a bit shy around other dogs because he has been picked on in the past. This isn't how he was born, unfortunately these bad experiences have made him a little more cautious. Because of this, we want his first "date" to be a relaxed, happy experience in the comfort of his own garden, where he feels safe.
What we are looking for:
An Experienced Girl: Since Rafa is a first-timer, we’d love to find a calm, experienced female (ideally 2+ years old and has had a litter before) who can show him the ropes. We would also like the girl to have the necessary testing complete as well as being KC registered.
The Perfect Deal:
We aren't looking for a cash payment! Our dream is to keep one of Rafa’s puppies, so we are asking for Pick of the Litter instead of a stud fee. We are desperate to keep his bloodline going as we honestly believe that we wouldn’t find a better dog than him, the closest we are getting is one of his sons.
We would love to be apart of this journey, any support needed we would be happy to help. Rafa is our only son and we will only be looking to have one litter, we would like to make this as stress free as we could for both parties.
Health First:
Rafa is KC registered. We are about to start his official BVA hip/elbow scoring and DNA health checks—we just want to make sure we’ve found the right partner to join us on this journey first! * Health Note*: Rafa is fit and healthy, though he does have Pannus (an eye condition) which is perfectly managed with daily drops. We are happy to discuss this openly with any potential matches.
