Description
Peter is a 1 year old border collie.
Very obedient and energetic, loves balls stick and any toys. Knows a few tricks such as centre spin up as well as basic commands such as lie down, sit, stay etc. He is a very quick learner and enjoys learning.
Well behaved around small animals, limited exposure to children but seemed well behaved around the ones he has met. He can however be reactive to other dogs, mainly when guarding food and his owner due to past experience in his previous home (resource guarding). He seems fine on a day to day basis with our other dog however has snapped towards her (never broken skin) and has never shown any aggression or reaction for a human, we are just not willing to risk this escalating/ continuing as our other dog is a service dog.
On his own he is the perfect dog and as such will only go to a home where he will be the only dog.
He is very cuddly and loves attention, will sit for pets and curl up to you or play for hours.
He currently has wagg dog biscuits twice a day, with a pouch of wet food on a morning mixed in. No known food intolerances and the vet said he looked fit and healthy after his examination. We have no previous vet records from previous owners however were told he has had his puppy vaccinations however no boosters. We have his microchip documentation which has been confirmed by the vet. He weighs 18.4kg
He pulls on a short lead especially towards the start of the walk which calms down as the walk progresses but on a long lead the pulling is minimal. Recall seems good however only tested on a 10m Lead as of yet.
Will come with his bed a blanket and some toys as well as some of his biscuits.
