Description

It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a loving new home for our beautiful girl, Margot. Margot is a 9-month-old female Working Cocker Spaniel with a gorgeous temperament. She is a loving, affectionate girl who adores both people and other dogs. She is moderate to high energy and would thrive with an active family who can give her the time, attention, exercise and companionship she deserves. She absolutely loves a cuddle and will happily snuggle up and watch the TV with you. She currently sleeps in bed with us and is fully toilet trained. She can be a little clingy, as she loves being around her people. Margot’s recall still needs some work, so her new family will need to continue with her training and help her build her confidence and reliability off lead. Health * Vaccinations fully up to date * Flea and worming treatments up to date * Microchipped * Spayed This is an incredibly difficult decision. Margot is a very good dog, but unfortunately our circumstances mean we can no longer give her the attention and interaction she needs. I work long shifts on the phones, including triaging patients, and my husband works away. Our daughter has also lost interest in having a dog, and we don’t feel it is fair for Margot to spend so much of her time indoors or in the garden without the stimulation and companionship she needs. Margot deserves a family who will make her part of their lives, give her plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and most importantly love her and care for her properly. We are looking for a genuinely loving, active and committed home for her rather than simply the first person who comes along. We want to make sure the next home is the right one for Margot.
