Description

Meet Fenn! He is ISDS registered, we have not tried him on sheep however. He will be 1 year old in June. When we first got Fenn, he was scared of males and would snap. We did ask the breeder to take him back, but she was unable. We worked on this and he did improve, but he still did not get on with said sheep farmer, so it is no longer suitable for him to stay. I have worked with him each day and brought him in the house to get him used to males, children and cats. He LOVES my husband and my children, but with his nervousness, I would not recommend a home with young children. Fenn is still nervous with strangers, but mainly when he is in his run, so this may just be a guarding issue. We operate a campsite on the farm and with his nervousness, it is just too risky with so many strangers throughout the year. He would be amazing at flyball if this is what you are looking for! He is obsessed with tennis balls. He would play all day if he could! I've been working on him bringing the ball back, but it's slow progress as he just loves them so much! He has learnt to leave when told and before I throw the ball, I ask 'touch' and he boops my hand, knowing I will then throw the ball. He pulls on the lead, but he just hasn't had the opportunity to learn otherwise. Once he loves you though, he is devoted to you! He loves strokes, playing with toys, bones, snuggles on the sofa. He is not aggressive with the cats, but he barks at them. He was with another farm dog and he loved the company, but she was a dominant female, which made him scared. Possibly another fun, playful dog companion would work. His price is low for the breeding lineage he is, but I don't want the price to be unreachable for the right family/household. Loving homes only, who have the time to work with him and let him reach his true potential. I would like photos/videos of home setup. Although he is used to being outside, this is not suiting his personality and he would benefit from being inside the home and part of your life. Any questions, queries, offers, please email/message/whatsapp/text. Thank you
