Description
Simba has just turned 2 years old and is a lovely terrier cross looking for a committed and experienced home.
Before coming to us, Simba moved from a house with a garden to a large block of flats with dark corridors, unfamiliar noises, and lots of activity. He found the change very stressful and, within a few weeks, developed reactive behaviours such as barking and lunging at residents in the building.
Since joining us and becoming part of our pack, Simba has made fantastic progress. Living alongside 10 other dogs every day has helped him learn appropriate social skills, and he has completely overcome his reactivity towards other dogs. He is now crate trained, settled, and enjoying life as a dog.
Simba is wonderful with children and has a great relationship with my 4-year-old son, Arthur. He is affectionate and loves attention, especially being picked up for cuddles, but we have worked hard to establish clear boundaries and structure, helping him understand that he doesn't need to be treated like a baby.
His best friend here is a male Cockapoo, and he enjoys the company of other balanced dogs.
Simba is looking for a home with someone confident and experienced with dogs who will continue the boundaries and routine that have helped him thrive. In return, you'll get a loyal, loving, and fun companion who has so much to offer.
