Lula is a lovely, large pointer crossbreed, possibly with some German Shorthaired Pointer and maybe even Spanish Mastiff in her mix. Born around 4 December 2017, she is now eight years old and ready to find her forever home. Lula was rescued from a kennel in Ourense, and although we know very little about her early life, her behaviour tells us she hasn’t had much positive experience with other dogs. She prefers not to be bothered by them and would thrive as the only dog in the household. With people, however, Lula is simply wonderful. She is calm, affectionate, and incredibly loving. She adores human company and will always seek you out for comfort and companionship. When she goes into the enclosed field, she doesn’t want to be alone — she much prefers staying close to her person. Lula enjoys a peaceful life. She loves resting in her bed, soaking up affection, and (very enthusiastically!) enjoying her meals — she is quite the foodie. She does have a stiff wrist from an old injury. It doesn’t seem to cause her pain, and she walks normally despite reduced mobility in the joint. However, she isn’t very agile and would not be suited to long runs or highly active lifestyles. A calm home with gentle walks and plenty of love would be perfect for her.
