Description
Chief is a loving, energetic young dog with a huge affection for people. He thrives on human company and will happily be by your side at all times. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality, making him a fantastic companion in the right home.
Training & Behaviour
Fully house trained
Crate trained (his crate will come with him)
Knows basic commands like sit and paw
Takes treats very gently
Very food-motivated and responds well to positive, reward-based training
Chief is a clever boy who is eager to learn. With time, consistency, and continued training, he has great potential to progress quickly.
🌍 Socialisation
Chief has been brought up in the countryside and hasn’t had much exposure to busy suburban environments. Because of this, he will benefit from continued training and gradual socialisation out and about. This is simply due to lack of exposure, not temperament.
🐾 Behaviour with Children & Other Animals
Chief has always lived with children (aged 6+) and is great with them—he is affectionate, gentle, and enjoys being around people. Due to his size and energy, supervision is still recommended.
He will need continued training and socialisation around other dogs, as this is still a work in progress.
Chief has not lived with cats or small animals, and as he does show a natural prey drive, a home without them would be most suitable.
🏡 Ideal Home
Chief would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of time, attention, and exercise. Ideally, someone would be around for a good part of the day, or able to take him along to work, as he travels very well in the car.
He would benefit from continued training and socialisation, so a home that understands and enjoys working with young, energetic dogs would be perfect.
As Chief is a large, strong breed and still growing, he will need an owner who has experience handling bigger, powerful dogs.
💛 Reason for Rehoming
This is a very difficult decision, but due to time constraints we’re unable to give Chief the time, training, and stimulation he truly deserves. We want to find him a home where he can reach his full potential.
