Meet porridge, a sweet little Hedgehog looking for a new home.
Porridge is a beautiful and friendly with a lovely personality. She’s curious once she gets to know you and enjoys being handled regularly.
She’s been raised in university accommodation so is used to noisy environments (voices, movement, music, and general background noises) and isn’t easily startled.
However it has only been me caring for her so she may take a little time to adjust to new people and build trust, but be patient, she will come out of her shell eventually.
Porridge’s favourite food include dried meal worms and whiskers cat food!
She has been well cared for and is in good health, however, no vet visits have been taken.
She enjoys her routine which includes exploring, sniffing around and curling up in a cozy corner in her cage.
I don’t know her exact date of birth but bought her on the 27th July 2023 (around 3 years old) and she has been very loved ever since.
She will come with a large cage set up, including a cozy hut to curl up in, a large wooden running wheel, a snuffle mat, a selection of toys, a foldable metal run, and any food and bedding supplies she has left over.
This is a very sad sale as I am beginning a new job on a cruise ship meaning I cannot give her the time and care she deserves.
Finding the correct home for her is extremely important.
Her ideal home includes someone patient and gentle, someone who is happy to let her adjust at her own pace, a warm safe environment and someone with hedgehog experience or willing to learn.
