Description

Ruby and George are a lovely male and female pair of Hermann’s tortoises, both hatched in 2005. They are an established breeding pair and have produced eggs previously. Ruby is the female and measures approximately 163 mm in length, weighing 928 g. George is the male and measures approximately 140 mm, weighing 625 g. They will come with the outdoor wooden house, enclosure and run shown in the photographs. Their original CITES Article 10 paperwork is also available. Ruby and George came to us following the recent loss of a family member. This is a very reluctant decision, but unfortunately we are unable to give them the time and attention they deserve. Their welfare is our main priority, so we are looking for a knowledgeable, loving and permanent home where they can remain together. We would prefer them to go to someone with previous tortoise experience and suitable space to care for them properly over the long term.
