Description
Trudi is a medium sized girl thought to be around 6 years of age.
Trudi was found on the streets of Romania and taken into the care of Pawprints and has been in her Foster home in the UK since February 2026.
Trudi is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed She has no known health issues.
Trudi is a very friendly girl, she welcomes visitors to the home and seeks attention from males and females alike She has never shown any negative behaviours such as growling.
Trudi currently lives in a multi dog household, alongside males and females of differing ages and sizes She is a calmer personality but able to put more boisterous dogs in their place, occasionally with a little growl, nothing more.
Trudi can live with a resident dog(s) following slow, sensible introductions but could equally be an only dog in the home.
Trudi currently lives with cats and pays no attention to them She could therefore live with cats in her adoptive home, again following initial separation and managed introductions.
Trudi lives in a household with teenage children and copes well with family life She is comfortable with day to day activity and friends dropping in With her friendly, relaxed nature we consider her suitable to live in a home with children aged 8 years plus.
Trudi accepts a lead and harness and is described as “happy and bouncy” on walks She is largely uninterested in external stimuli such as other people, dogs etc.
Trudi travels well in the car.
Trudi is both toilet and crate trained, she settles down quickly at night after a quick toileting trip to the garden She chooses whether to sleep in the kitchen or bedroom and is content until morning.
Trudi has never been destructive within the home nor does she display any signs of separation anxiety She can be left for periods of up to 5 hours without incident although we do suggest a gradual build up to alone time in her new home It is worth noting that she has never been left entirely alone as she has always had other dogs for company.
Trudi is very food motivated and can show guarding behaviour around her meals She is therefore fed separately so that she can enjoy eating in peace There are no other reported issues of resource guarding.
Trudi’s Foster Mum has the following to say about her:
“Trudi is a very very affectionate dog she wants to be your shadow . Will confidently seek out your attention and from others . She is not too bothered about toys but she does love her food ! She sleeps through and is very relaxed in the home”
