Vernon is a beautiful red-haired boy looking for a calm, loving home where he can continue learning that life can be kind.
Gentle and loving, he forms deep bonds with the people he trusts and will reward you with sweet loyalty. He loves being close to his favourite person, following his foster mum from room to room and happily settling beside her in the garden or curled up next to her.
After a cruel past, he can be nervous around new people and situations, preferring to watch quietly until he feels safe. He needs patient adopters who will let him take life at his own pace.
He is toilet trained, sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, enjoys his walks, and is good with dogs out and about. He asks for very little beyond kindness, patience, and a peaceful home.

His Story
Vernon was found scavenging in a Gypsy neighborhood. He was brought to us on our recent visit by a young man. He had taken Vernon after the children had finished throwing stones at him. He begged us to take Vernon for his safety.

Tested for known parasite conditions. Also for Leishmaniasis. Pursuant to government regulations all dogs have their blood tested here in the UK for Brucellosis prior to entry and enter the UK within 30 days of the blood being drawn. All dogs are microchipped.
