Description

Bailey is a handsome 2½-year-old Springador looking for a loving, active home where he can continue to thrive. He came into my care after his previous owners found they could no longer meet the needs of an active working-breed dog. Since then, Bailey has flourished with structure, routine and consistent training, developing into a loyal, affectionate and rewarding companion. Bailey is an entire male and has previously sired a litter. He is in excellent health, crate trained, travels exceptionally well in the car, and settles nicely in the home inside and outside of his crate. He has a good level of basic obedience and enjoys learning and spending time with his owner. When exercised on his own, he has a reliable recall and loves getting out and about. Bailey is incredibly people-friendly and enjoys meeting new people. He has an affectionate nature and would suit an owner looking for an active companion to share adventures with. As an entire male, Bailey can be dominant towards other entire male dogs. For this reason, I feel his ideal home would either be as the only dog or with an experienced owner who understands dog behaviour and can confidently manage introductions and multi-dog households. He is otherwise happy around female & male dogs and has lived and trained successfully alongside them. Bailey is looking for a home that understands the needs of an active breed and can provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and continued training. In return, he offers unwavering loyalty, enthusiasm for life and a fantastic temperament with people. This is a genuine and difficult rehoming decision, and Bailey will only be placed in a home that is the right fit for him. His welfare is my priority, and homes will be selected based on suitability rather than on a first-come, first-served basis.
