🐶 Beautiful 7-Month-Old Springer Spaniel Looking for Loving Active Home
It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking to rehome my lovely boy Cookie.
Cookie is a 7-month-old Springer Spaniel with a sweet, affectionate and intelligent personality. This has not been an easy decision at all, but due to change in working patterns and single parent with two children, I feel he deserves a home that can better meet his needs long term.
About Cookie:
• 7 months old male
• Well behaved around children and cats
• Fully vaccinated and microchipped
• Crate trained
• Sleeps through the night in the crate
• Toilet trained
• Attended puppy training classes and learns very quickly
• Good recall for his age and most walks are off the leash
• Very food motivated and eager to learn
• Healthy with no known medical issues
Cookie is a typical young Springer Spaniel:
• Very energetic
• Intelligent, playful and obedient, responds to commands such as sit, down, drop, bed (crate), wait, stop, paw, leave it and many more
• Loves retrieving and outdoor activities
• Needs ongoing training, mental stimulation and exercise
He can still be excitable:
• Jumps up when excited
• Can be nervous around unfamiliar dogs
• Barks at outside noises/people passing
Because of this, he would be best suited to:
✔ an active home
✔ someone with time for training and exercise
✔ ideally a house with a secure garden
✔ someone familiar with spaniels or working breeds
This is an incredibly difficult decision and I will only let him go to the right home where he will be loved and properly cared for.
