Beautiful Stephanie has been through more than most cats ever should.
Stephanie is approximately 8 years old and spent at least a year surviving on the streets around the Docklands area before somebody finally reached out for help and we were able to bring her into rescue.
After months in our care, Stef has slowly started learning that people can be kind. Sheās a very sweet girl once she trusts you, but because of the trauma sheās experienced she can still be quite jumpy and skittish at times. Every now and then she becomes overwhelmed and simply needs a little space and understanding.
Stef is a chronic cat flu carrier and has calicivirus, so she will need an experienced, understanding home willing to manage her ongoing care. She will also need some dental work soon, which of course will be fully covered by us.
Because of her medical needs and her dislike of other cats, Stephanie MUST be the only pet in the home.
We are looking for a quiet, calm forever foster home, ideally somebody retired or home most of the day, with a little cat experience and lots of patience. Someone who understands that the most rewarding cats are often the ones who take the longest to trust.
As Stefās lifelong foster, you would need to live close enough to attend our vets, Vets4Pets Romford.
