⚠️ Update
We have been writing about Varya since February. Post after post… and still, no one has chosen her. Her sisters are still waiting too. Three lives, paused. Three dogs who somehow remain unseen.
She has already missed her chance more than once. Watched others leave. Stayed behind. Again. Time keeps moving. For dogs, it moves faster than we realise. And still, she waits — without asking, without pushing… just hoping that maybe this time someone will notice her.
She now has another chance to take the 15 May Happy Bus. Please don’t let her be the one who stays behind again.

Varya is just over 3 years old, not tall (to the knee), but solidly built girl with a lively, joyful personality and a warm, affectionate nature. She is open, engaging, and full of life — the kind of dog who enjoys being part of everything 💛

💔 Rescue Story
Varya was rescued as a tiny puppy, together with her sisters, after being abandoned near a monastery — a place where unwanted dogs are often left behind.
They were taken to safety while still very small, before the worst could happen.
But instead of finding homes, they grew up in rescue. Months turned into years… and Varya is still waiting. She has never known what it means to have a family of her own.

Varya lives in a shelter environment and spends time outdoors with space to move and play. She is active, curious, and enjoys running, exploring, and games.
She is confident and engaging, approaching people with openness and warmth. She enjoys attention and interaction, often leaning in and asking for contact.
With men, she can be a little more cautious at first, needing a bit of time — but once she understands she is safe, she opens up and becomes just as affectionate.
She is obedient, responsive, and enjoys being part of activities. With other dogs, she is social and playful, joining in happily without conflict.
🏡 Ideal Home
Varya would thrive in an active home with space to move and explore. A house with a garden and regular walks would suit her well.
She could live with other friendly dogs or as the only dog, and would do best with children aged 8+ who can match her energy respectfully.
💞 Varya is a dog who brings joy easily. She is open, affectionate, and ready to be part of a family — she just needs someone to finally choose her.
