Description

Whiskey is a friendly, loving dog who only wants to please. He loves being with his family and would be cuddled and stroked all day if we let him! Unfortunately, since the arrival of our second baby, we simply don’t have the time to give Whiskey the exercise and attention he deserves and so we are looking to find him a new forever home. We have had him since he was a puppy (bought from breeder) and he has grown up with both our young son and our family GSD and Welsh terrier. He loves to play in the garden with the other dogs, loves to chew his toys and play fetch (although he doesn’t always bring the ball back). We often let him off to have a run around the fields, but his recall can be hit or miss and he would benefit from some extra training in this area. Whiskey would be well suited to a quieter home with people who can be with him a majority of the time, or who already have another dog to keep him company. He is crate trained and sleeps well in his crate at night, though he prefers to be with people/have company during the day. He has been in kennels while we have been on holiday before and has had no issues (and has been described as a sweetheart by the kennel staff).
