Albie is a little bichon looking for a home with another dog but without children and cats. Albie originally joined us after being surrendered by a breeder. Like many dogs from a breeding background, this left Albie nervous of many ‘normal’ things. Albie has been living in an adoptive home for the past few years but he had begun to really struggle with the children as they got older, louder and more unpredictable. It was agreed that it was in Albies best interest to return to find a quieter home. Character – Albie is a loving boy. He likes to take the ‘never let them know your next move’ approach to love with his aloof nature – does he want to sit on you lap? next to you? or off into his own space? Only Albie will be able to tell you that! He loves being around his people and playing games. He bonds strongly, so if you want a new bestie who wants to be your shadow, this is the guy for you. Type of home – Albie is looking for a calm and quiet home. His new home will need to be aware of his anxieties, which mean he may struggle to initially settle and can be wary of unusual situations, he’s particularly wary of those scary vets! Albie is hoping to find a home where someone is around a lot of the time, as he loves people so much he doesn’t want to be left by them for long periods. Albie loves going out for walks so he’d really love a walking buddy, prepared to teach him some lead walking manners that he was never taught whilst he was used for breeding. Adopting – Albie is currently in Bristol and potential adopters will need to visit them here. Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
