Description
Tasha arrived at our OSH kennels on 14/02/2026. When she first arrived she was a little nervous, which is very normal for dogs adjusting to a new environment, but she has remained a very sweet and affectionate girl throughout. As she has settled, her friendly and gentle nature has really come through and she has been lovely with both people and other dogs.
When someone enters her kennel, Tasha gets very excited and will often jump up for a fuss, although she does so very gently. She clearly enjoys human attention and loves spending time with the people caring for her.
Tasha walks nicely on the lead and is a pleasant companion to take out. While on walks she is social and keen to say hello to people and other dogs she meets. She has interacted with a number of dogs during her time in kennels and has been consistently gentle and playful. Tasha could happily live with another dog but would also be comfortable as the only dog in the home.
Tasha has been tested with a child aged 10 and behaved well. Based on her temperament we believe she could live with respectful children aged 5+.
Tasha was cat tested in Romania and was reported to be fine. As with all dogs, introductions to cats should be gradual and managed carefully while everyone adjusts.
Within the kennel environment, Tasha has shown no signs of resource guarding and is comfortable having food and toys around her sister without any issues. She has not shown any destructive behaviours and does not display signs of separation anxiety. She has previously been left overnight and coped well, typically settling down to sleep.
Tasha travels well in the car. She can drool slightly but settles nicely and will often sit calmly in the footwell.
Tasha is not currently on any medication. She is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and is flea & worm treated.
Overall, Tasha is a very kind and loving dog with a gentle nature. She enjoys playing with soft toys, chasing a ball, and is very food motivated. She also loves quiet moments cuddling up with her sister in the kennel. Tasha would make a wonderful companion for a home looking for a sweet, affectionate dog who enjoys both playtime and cuddles.
