Description
This is Axel, he is 5 months old and a very large boy, with a very heavy heart I am having to rehome him. I will be starting work soon; with the hours involved and other circumstances, I simply cannot give him the consistent routine and care he deserves.
I took him on from a seller who appeared to have little understanding of the breed or proper care. At only 3 months old he was being fed a mix of adult kibble, wet food and raw with no structure, and received very little guidance or boundaries. I paid £900 for him originally, having been told he was from champion German/Romanian lines and fully vaccinated - but sadly his microchip is not registered, no vet records or pedigree papers were ever provided, and the seller has since stopped responding entirely. He appears healthy and has an excellent, steady temperament.
He already has a solid training foundation: he knows sit, stay, come, and leave (with further progress still being made) his commands are in Romanian but they are simple to pronounce and also knows hand cues, I’m sure he still understands English. He walks well on lead, and can also work reliably off‑lead in low‑distraction areas when rewarded. He learns quickly but needs an owner who will keep up the same clear, patient consistency. I currently feed only by hand or scatter‑feed as part of his training. He is great with other dogs and kids, he can get pushy around male dogs tho.
He is only available to experienced owners familiar with large guardian breeds, with a fully secure enclosed garden. The price is fixed and kept deliberately high to filter out enquiries from anyone looking only for a status or guard dog. He comes complete with harness/collar, lead, bed, toys and remaining food ready for his new home - crate and feeding bowls are not included as I Paid good money for them.
