Description

Rosie is a ten month old cockapoo. We have only had Rosie a week after rehoming her from another family who were struggling due to one of the adults being very ill. However our resident dog a two year old cavalier really dislikes Rosie and they have started to fight. I have two young children so can’t have this happening in the house. I think Rosie will be fine with other dogs, as she’s very sociable however my resident dog who is also super friendly does not approve of her. It’s making things very difficult trying to keep them separate in the house. Rosie is a beautiful dog, she’s not your usual cockapoo as she has a smooth coat. She has had basic training such as sit, lie down and wait, however isn’t overly keen on her crate but will happily settle in it if she can see you, she has also had a few accidents in the house however this was most likely due to her being anxious in her new environment. She also has great recall! She is really good with kids and hasn’t shown any aggression towards my two. She is good with cats as she hasn’t shown any interest towards my house cat. We are so upset to be having to rehome Rosie as we really wanted her to be part of our family and really think she could be an amazing dog. However the upset it’s caused to my current dog is upsetting us too. Rosie needs an active family who are at home for a big chunk of the the day, can take her on decent walks and are willing to continue training with her. Rosie is also in season currently.
