Meet Roxanne… or Roxy… or, as she’s affectionately known in her current home, “Dobbie the Sock Thief” 🧦💕
This little dachshund-sized girl is bursting with personality, love, and just the right amount of mischief. If you’ve ever wondered where your socks go… Roxy may already know the answer!
Roxy is the definition of a cuddle bug.
She absolutely adores curling up on the sofa beside you, soaking up all the affection she can get. She’s also a clever little thing who enjoys puzzle toys, playing, and (most importantly in her opinion) food – which makes her a joy to train.
She loves other dogs and happily zooms around the garden with her canine friends. She’s also great with cats and rabbits, making her a lovely addition to a multi-pet home. Children over 16 years.
Roxy can be a little unsure in new outdoor environments at first, but she has already made brilliant progress. With a bit of encouragement and reassurance, she’s started to explore, enjoy her walks, and embrace all the exciting smells the world has to offer.
She would suit a calm home, ideally with a female adopter. While she has made positive progress with some men, this is something that will need slow, patient, and consistent introductions over time.
In true “tiny dog, big personality” fashion, Roxy has taken her self-appointed role as neighbourhood watch very seriously! She will let you know when someone is about, so a house (rather than a flat) would be much better suited—unless your neighbours are as understanding as her current ones!
Roxy is an incredibly resilient and intelligent little girl who has already come so far. With the right home, patience, and love, she will absolutely blossom into the most devoted and entertaining companion.

Fully vaccinated, wormed, flea & tick treated
Pet passport, microchip, BCUK tested
