Description

Marley is a gelded 4 year old 12.3/13hh cob who i’ve had since he was two. he isn’t fully backed. he’s only done walk and trot bareback and has been lunged in a saddle and no bother from him. what he lacks in ridden work his ground work and manners makes up for it. this pony is fully bomb proof. he can walk, trot, canter, stop, and back up off voice commands, whether thats lunge or ridden work. he lines himself up at the mounting block for you and picks up his own feet. he can lead while riding another horse, and wont pull for grass on a lead rope. he loves to jump and has jumped a few logs (cant say for sure the size) but hasn’t jumped anything bigger than a 60 cross rail in the school. can be tied up or left in a field by himself, same with going out hacking or being stabled. he’s not bothered about needing another horse he’s a confident boy. he stands to be bathed and clipped. i’ve had no problems with loading him, he is good to catch and he loves dewormer (i'm not quite sure why). he is bare foot and is great for the farrier and dentist. he genuinely is a big puppy and loves attention and will do anything for a treat. i do think he will make a good kids pony once fully backed, he’s fully laid back and has never pulled a nasty moved.
