Sad sale but due to not having the time for two horses I’m having to sell my girl Jess.
She is 4.5 years old fully backed with amazing paces she will go incredibly far. She is currently standing at 13”3 but should finish at 14”3.
She is really fun to ride not dangerous or nasty doesn’t buck rear or bolt.
Jess likes to be in work otherwise she gets abit naughty, Jess can become pushy on the ground and abit strong, she isn’t for kids. Although she’s ridden regularly by a 15 year old she wouldn’t be suited for someone younger I do think with time she would get better but right now no.
When she’s tied up if she doesn’t want to move she will do a little bunny buck but will move if you continue to move her.
She is a little naughty in her stable if food is there so if you want to groom her ect in her stable I would say not to have food in there, due to her past before me she is a little food aggressive but she tells you with her ears.
Jess is a mare and does have typical mare traits.
She takes a lot of leg as she is wide as she is tall she is a solid chunky cob. She is easy to look after as she’s incredibly clean and has minimal hard feed, she is on soaked hay (due to weight) and grass, she will easily loose the weight when in more consistent work than she is as she is currently only rode once a week and then again during the week if I have time. My daughter has a few medical needs which limits my time.
Jess is a lovely horse that just needs a regular job, she hacks out alone or in company never nasty might spook at a road work sign but that’s nothing dangerous, she schools amazingly and isn’t strong once under the saddle.
She loads quickly and is easy to travel with.
Jess comes with everything she has fitted saddle, rugs, bowls, head collars and lead ropes, all you need is mucking out tools.
She is up to date with farrier (6 weeks) but can go a lot longer as she doesn’t have much growth, dentist, back and saddle fitted
