Strong, confident, and wonderfully reliable, the Rhode Island Red is one of the most trusted traditional poultry breeds. With their deep mahogany colouring and hardy nature, these chicks grow into friendly, productive hens that are perfect for both beginners and experienced keepers.
Our Rhode Island Red chicks are unsexed and unvaccinated, hatched from our own breeding group here on our smallholding near Stroud, Gloucestershire. Our breeding flock includes our striking cockerel Thor and his three lovely hens, producing strong, healthy chicks raised with care from day one.
Each chick is carefully reared to ensure they are well-started, active, and ready to thrive when they move to their new homes.
