Description

This is Bear, a 1 year old gsd x bull mastiff - takes mostly after gsd side with colouring and weighing 38kg (still has some growing to do) Bear is looking for his forever home through no fault of his own, he has sadly been passed to me due to owners having a change in circumstances. He is a very friendly boy with dogs, cats and kids however due to his size he would be suited to older children. We have a 9 month old and he just doesn’t quite realise he’s a lot bigger than she is! Bear is currently getting loose lead walking training, socialisation and basic manners training and has come so far already. His recall is coming along but he’s a young male so this will need more work. In the house he’s very chill and loves a cuddle on the sofa but once the pets stop he’ll find a cool comfy spot on the floor. He can be left for long periods but does whine for the first 1-2 minutes. Bear is looking for an active home and can live with other dogs/cats as long as introduced correctly. Older or no children. A big garden would be a plus. He can be quite excitable on the rare occasion but with more exercise when the weathers cooler he’ll be much calmer. His lead walking has come a long way since he first arrived with me however his new owner needs to be willing to continue with our tools and training to keep up with this as he is a very strong, big dog.
