Description
Petite Ava is looking for a new home after being found as a stray and taken to a local vets, who then contacted us asking us to take her. She has settled well in her foster home and is friendly, affectionate and playful. She loves chasing toys and enjoys being near people. Ava is currently living with children, a dog and a cat. She seems a bit unsure of the cat but could potentially live with the right match.
Ava is still young so will need some company during the day, as well as plenty of stimulation. Once settled, she will need access to a garden if she would like to go outside.
It is believed poor Ava had been shaved at some point before being brought to the vets, as the fur on her body is much shorter than on her legs or head. It appears to be growing back normally so at this point we wouldn’t be concerned that she has a skin condition.
Ava has been neutered, chipped and started vaccinations since being with us. She is in foster in Basingstoke.
Rehoming criteria:
- Suitable for first time owners
- Can live with children of any age
- Can live with other cats & dogs if cat-friendly
- Will need outside access
- Can be left half a working day
The minimum adoption fee is £185 per cat which includes:
- Neutering
- Microchip (there is a small fee to register/ transfer ownership)
- At least the first vaccination
- Up to date flea and worming
- A Pet Remedy new home kit
- 5 weeks free insurance with Agria
- A blanket for a familiar smell
- Ongoing advice and support
