Lily came to us several months ago as a rescue off of an individual who seemed to be living on the streets of busy London. Lily was very under weight, and lacked a little confidence but only ever showed this by keeping her head a little low. We assume that living on the streets supported her neutrality towards busy London life which means she is very stable in her surroundings when out and about, which is great.
She’s been a beautiful girl from the moment I met her, she is so caring with children, adults, and other dogs of all sizes and ages. We believe she has had a litter of puppies before, and the vet has estimated her age at approx 2 years old but no younger than.
Lily settles very well in cafes, parks and on public transport. She also travels in a car in the boot happily and in front seat also. She has no issues with off lead unknown dogs, and is happy in a home with other dogs but also crate and kennel trained to be alone with no anxiety issues present.
She has been around very young children, and throughout her stay with me has helped to rehabilitate other dogs and their reactivity issues due to her having such a stable and fair nature about herself. She walks lovely on a lead, and listens to commands, she waits for food and enjoys a cuddle.
She is independent in the way that she doesn’t demand constant affection and follow you around fussing, but she also will sit on your lap and beside you with her head on you if you invite her to. She is honestly a beautiful soul, a difficult choice for us to rehome as she is so easy and lovely to keep, but when I got her I knew I was only a stepping stone in her journey of life - I have brought her weight back up to health, given her new confidence and friends and she is now ready for her forever family.
We had believed she is a Staffordshire bull terrier cross Cane Corso, but this hasn’t been DNA tested. She is fit and likes to spring around at the park but she does not require huge amounts of exercise and generally as she has a very chill nature in her day to day behaviour.
