Description
It’s with a heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our lovely cockapoo, who is nearly 2 years old. She came to us in November, but unfortunately her previous owners were not fully transparent about her specific needs, and we want to ensure she finds a home where she can truly thrive.
She is an incredibly intelligent, affectionate, and obedient dog who forms strong bonds with her people. In the right environment, she is a wonderful companion and a joy to have around.
She is also crate trained and settles well in a crate, but only if she is sharing with a doggy friend, which helps her feel secure and relaxed.
She can live with cats – she may initially try to play chase, but once she realises the cat won’t run, she settles and largely ignores them.
Her ideal home must meet the following essential requirements:
• She must live with another older dog – this is absolutely crucial. She relies heavily on canine companionship and cannot be left alone without becoming distressed.
• Owners should work from home or be home most of the time – she is not suited to being left for long periods.
• A secure, enclosed garden is required so she can safely enjoy outdoor time.
• She cannot live with or have access to chickens or birds – she has a strong prey drive, and her recall disappears in these situations.
This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly. Our priority is finding her a home that understands her needs and can provide the environment she requires to be happy and settled.
