Description
We have Golden Retriever × Irish Setter puppies available from our own dogs.
Both mum (Orla) and dad (Angus) live with us and can be seen with the puppies. The pups are being raised in our home, as part of normal family life, with everyday noise, people coming and going, and regular handling.
Temperament
These puppies are:
People-oriented and affectionate
Confident, curious, and socially aware
Energetic and intelligent, with strong engagement
They’re more driven and switched-on than a typical Golden Retriever, with the Irish Setter influence clearly present, so they suit owners who enjoy being involved with their dog — walking, training, and actually building a relationship.
Training & Potential
Both parents have been introduced to basic scent work and gundog-style exercises and show strong natural ability and enthusiasm. The puppies are not sold as working dogs, but they clearly have the potential to be trained further if someone wanted to explore that route.
