Description
This is Arsha, she is a 2 year old Dalmatian/Labrador cross. She looks all Dalmatian, you wouldn't know there is any Labrador in her. Her mum was pure Dalmatian and her dad was Dalmatian/Labrador cross.
We have only had Arsha for a short time ourselves and as much as we have come to adore her and it breaks our hearts, we cannot keep her. Unfortunately, she and our other dog do not get along and will likely never do so. We have been advised by a dog trainer that Arsha will very unlikely be able to ever live with another dog.
Arsha is in need of a forever home where she is the ONLY dog and there are no young children.
She is a super affectionate and loving girl but she is reactive to other dogs in the home and when she is on a walk on the lead. When off the lead, however, she is amazing and happily plays with other dogs. Her recall is fantastic and she's a very obedient dog.
Because Arsha needs further training around socialisation, she will need an experienced owner who can help her with this. She also needs someone who isn't out of the home for more than 4 hours during the day.
Dalmatians need moderate exercise so you will need to be able to commit to daily walks of at least 1 hour.
In short, Arsha needs a home with someone who is there most of the time, with someone who can give her the exercise she needs and where she is the only dog.
We will be asking lost of questions to potential new owners to ensure Arsha goes to the right home and are more than happy to arrange for you to meet her on neutral territory.
