Sometimes the smallest little souls come from circumstances they never deserved.
Beautiful BETTY is one of three surviving sisters we took into our care after being born to a lovely little dog whose owner had simply failed to have her spayed.
There were originally four puppies - three girls and a little boy. Tragically, their brother became ill with parvovirus and didn't survive. 💔
Thankfully, Betty and her sisters Julia and Cara made it through, and their lives can now begin properly.
And just look at this little girl. ❤️
Betty is an absolutely gorgeous, petite puppy with a beautiful warm tan coat, a darker little muzzle and the most expressive brown eyes.
She currently weighs only around 4 kg, and judging by her present size and development, we don't expect her to grow much beyond approximately 7 kg as an adult — although, as with any crossbreed puppy, adult size can never be guaranteed.

Betty is still only a baby, so her new family must understand that adopting a puppy means taking on all the normal puppy stages: house training, lead training, boundaries, socialisation and the occasional bit of mischief!
She needs somebody who wants to make her a genuine member of their family for the rest of her life — not simply somebody who has fallen in love with a photograph of a cute puppy.

🪪 Microchipped
🪱 Treated appropriately against internal/external parasites
🩸 Will be blood tested before rehoming
She is obviously too young to be spayed at present. Her future family will therefore be expected to have her spayed at the appropriate age, in consultation with their vet, and to provide confirmation to the Rescue.
🏡 THE HOME WE WANT FOR BETTY
We are looking for a loving, responsible and permanent family who understands that adopting a Rescue Dog is a commitment potentially lasting many, many years.
A secure, private garden belonging to your home is compulsory.
🏡 We will NOT consider homes without their own secure garden. Flats/apartments are therefore not suitable.
👧 No children under 10 years old.
This is a Rescue policy and is not negotiable simply because Betty happens to be small and cute.
A Home Check is mandatory and, depending on circumstances and location, this can sometimes be carried out online.
Betty is being rehomed strictly as a loved family PET.
We do NOT supply dogs for breeding, guarding, working, assistance or service purposes, regardless of the intended reason. Betty will live as a companion in her adopter's home, where she will be properly cared for and loved.
❤️ OUR COMMITMENT DOESN'T END AT ADOPTION
Adopting one of our dogs means becoming part of our extended Rescue family.
We ask adopters to keep in touch with us after adoption, and we are always available to help if difficulties arise.
Our dogs have lifelong Rescue Back-Up.
If circumstances ever change and an adopter genuinely cannot continue caring for one of our dogs, we expect them to contact us. Our dogs must never simply be passed on, sold or independently rehomed.
We have successfully rehomed hundreds of dogs and can provide excellent references from previous adopters on request.

GB rehoming - transport available to almost anywhere on the mainland.
🏴 Scotland transport is normally available approximately once per month.
