Description
Reaver is a harlequin lop bunny, we've had her 2 years and she might have been about 6 months old when we got her from pets at home at the capitol center in Preston. She has come out of her shell in the last year after we realised we weren't spending as much time as we should have. Rehoming due to realising care, costs and keeping on top of cleaning, as well as lack of space, was becoming too much for her owner (other person in household).
Would prefer for her to go to someone who has had experience with rabbits before or does research beforehand. Preferably a quiet house without children, or if there is children the adult would need to be responsible for Reaver (kids can learn of course but won't always be able to be fully responsible for pets and rabbits aren't a good 'starter' pet for children).
She's been around other rabbits but not other animals
She's slightly skittish but not as much as she used to be. Will tell you if she wants out of her run (no cages to be used unless as larger litter tray or opened 24/7 as part of larger set up). Loves timothy/meadow hay mix and a pets at home mint pellets (can find out for you), loves rocket, kale, spinach, some peppers and celery and berry loops, bananas and raspberries, all in moderation of course.
Liter trained, but occasionally pees over side of tray and to mark territory elsewhere (fixing could help) Unfixed (one accidental liter).
Vaccination, vet check and flystrike last done in May 2025, was on vet care plan.
She'll come with c and c panels, carrier, 2 Liter trays, 2 bowls, toys and 2 ground covers (which we used for when she was in kitchen to help with sore hocks and to try and help with accidents). Costs is for her and these items too.
