🐾 Meet Coffee & Robyn – A Bonded Pair of Gentle Explorers
Coffee and Robyn are a beautiful, bonded pair currently in foster care, learning how to trust, play, and enjoy life together. Both are shy and sensitive souls who take time to warm up — but once they do, their personalities shine in the most heartwarming ways.
Coffee is the cheeky one — playful, food-motivated, and always up for a puzzle feeder or a good chew. Robyn is the sensitive sweetheart — a long-legged boy with a fancy trot and a love for belly rubs and quiet companionship. Together, they’re the perfect balance of gentle affection and joyful energy.
🦮 Out and About
Both dogs walk beautifully on 5-meter leads, which have helped build their confidence outdoors. They’re not reactive or aggressive, but they can be nervous around confident or bouncy dogs. Robyn is especially curious about other dogs and will whine with interest when he sees them playing. Coffee prefers to observe from a distance but is making great progress.
They both adore nature walks — especially if there’s a pond or lake to splash in. Robyn is a true water baby, and Coffee loves a good sniff and explore.
🏡 In the Home
Coffee and Robyn are house-trained, with only occasional accidents if left for more than five hours. They’re clever, medium-energy dogs who thrive on routine and mental stimulation. Without it, they can become a little chewy — especially Coffee, who likely has some working-dog genes and loves a challenge.
They’re not currently crate trained, but both have shown they can settle in a crate when needed. At night, they sleep soundly — Coffee with the help of a white noise machine, and Robyn curled up like a pretzel on his favourite armchair.
👨👩👧👦 People & Pets
Both dogs are nervous around new people. Coffee will bark at strangers entering the home, while Robyn prefers to quietly observe from a distance. With time, patience, and gentle introductions, they’ve both made great progress and have built trust with several regular visitors. Because of their sensitive nature, they would be best suited to an adult-only home.
They’re not suitable for homes with cats or small animals, as both have a prey drive — especially Robyn, who loves to chase squirrels, rabbits, and ducks.
🩺 Health & Care
Both Coffee and Robyn have had ingrowing eyelashes. Robyn’s were more severe and required surgery, which he handled like a champ — the vet team adored him for his gentle, cooperative nature. Coffee currently receives daily eye drops, which she tolerates but isn’t happy about unless there’s a treat involved.
🏞️ The Perfect Home
Coffee and Robyn are looking for a calm, structured home with people who are around most of the day. They thrive on routine and would love two short walks a day or one longer adventure — ideally somewhere with water to splash in! They’re medium-energy dogs who enjoy exploring but are just as happy cuddled up on the sofa.
They need a home with patience, understanding, and a willingness to continue their training and confidence-building. In return, you’ll gain two incredibly loyal, affectionate companions who will reward your love tenfold. They may be shy at first, but once they trust you, they’ll be your most devoted adventure buddies.
They’re worth the wait.
They are both neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
