Description
It breaks my heart to write this, but due to a recent relationship breakdown and a significant change in our circumstances, we can no longer give Daisy and Burrito the time, stability and care they deserve. This is not a decision we’ve made lightly. Our only priority is finding them a loving, permanent home.
Daisy is a 9-year-old, neutered female Staffordshire Bull Terrier (10 in December) and Burrito’s mum. She has always been a calm, gentle soul who loves nothing more than relaxing beside you. Daisy is blind, but she has adapted incredibly well and still enjoys walks and runs in familiar parks. Off lead, she’ll happily follow your voice and run alongside you in safe, open areas without obstacles.
She has sensitive skin and currently has a lump on one of her back feet. Our vet has advised that it can be surgically removed, although it would likely involve removing two toes. Despite this, she currently walks, runs and enjoys life without any obvious pain or mobility issues.
Because Daisy can’t see, she can sometimes become startled if touched unexpectedly while she’s asleep or eating. She has never been aggressive, but she may give a warning snap if frightened, so we’d rather be completely honest. She has always been wonderful with children when interactions are calm and respectful.
Burrito is a healthy 4-year-old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is not neutered. He absolutely loves people and especially enjoys attention from children. He’s affectionate, playful and full of personality.
When meeting other dogs, Burrito can become overexcited and needs someone willing to continue working with him. We genuinely believe that, with consistency, patience and a little training, he’ll become an even more confident and well-mannered companion.
We would love for them to stay together if possible, as they’ve spent their entire lives side by side. However, our biggest priority is making sure they each find a safe, loving home where they’ll be cared for properly.
If you think you can offer Daisy and Burrito the home they deserve, please get in touch. We’d be happy to answer any questions and want to make sure they’re matched with the right family.
