Description
Bristlenose Plecos looking for new tanks.
Raised in a healthy, well maintained and established aquarium, these youngsters are active, hardy and eating a mix of algae wafers and fresh veg. They’re used to and get on great with other fish and would suit most peaceful community setups.
Collection preferred but delivery could be arrange at additional cost

Bristlenose plecos are peaceful, hardy fish that fit well into most freshwater community tanks. They are great for beginners and are well known for helping to keep algae under control.
They are happiest in water temperatures between 23–27°C with good filtration. A tank of at least 60 litres is recommended, along with places to hide such as caves, ornaments or pieces of wood. Many also enjoy having driftwood to graze on.
Although they eat algae, this should not be their only food. They need regular feeding with algae wafers or sinking pellets, plus fresh vegetables like courgette or cucumber.
A fully cycled aquarium is essential before adding any fish.
