Approx. 14hh Traditional Cob Gelding, 8 years old – £2,950 Very sad sale of Bilbo, who is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced home to continue his education. I’ve owned him for around a year and he is an absolute sweetheart on the ground. He loves people, enjoys attention, stands happily to groom, is good for the farrier and is affectionate and easy to handle day to day. He gets on well with other horses and is curious rather than worried by dogs. Bilbo has been professionally backed and is currently at a training yard continuing his education. He has hacked out, but he is still green and lacks confidence. He can nap when leaving the yard and takes confidence from a calm, experienced rider. He is happier in company and is not suitable for a novice rider. He has plenty of potential in the right hands but needs someone who enjoys producing a young, inexperienced horse rather than looking for a finished riding horse. This sale is entirely due to him not being the right match for me. I am looking for the right home where someone can continue his training and enjoy bringing him on. Plenty of photos and videos available. Professionally fitted saddle and quality bridle available separately.
