Odin is a 3.5 year old KC registered Berner who shows a lot of the classical traits of his breed. He has exceptional markings and a distinguished set of black freckles on his snout to add some distinction and uniqueness.
He is an exceptionally healthy example of the breed and was raised in Scotland where he lives up to his breed and explores the highland mountains in all weathers. As a result he is a very fit example of a Berner and can walk for up to 10 hours but is equally happy chilling so long as a human is around. He is a very healthy weight which can be rare in the breed.
What sets Odin apart is his personality. He is extremely affectionate and one of the most gentle dogs you will ever meet. He has experience with toddlers, cats, dogs and even birds and has never shown the slightest hint of aggression or reactivity. If anything he could stand to be a little less friendly as it makes walks very social affairs.
He was very easy to train and has never been unwell. He has hip scores of 3 on the right and 7 on the left, Elbow scores of 0 and 0 and is a carrier for DM so would not be fit for breeding with other carriers.
I am looking to breed him simply to keep his line going should I want another puppy in the future. I am not particularly fussed about a profit.
