Description
Comet’s story began in the most heartbreaking circumstances. His mum, a beautiful Springer Spaniel, survived as a stray for almost three months in a small village in Cyprus. With no safe place to call home, she gave birth outside and did her very best to protect and care for her six tiny puppies.
At just two weeks old, Comet, his five siblings and their devoted mum were rescued and given the chance of a brighter future. We believe their dad was a Pointer, and Comet has inherited the very best qualities from both breeds.
Now, after weeks of love, care, cuddles, good food, veterinary care and vaccinations, Comet is thriving with his foster family and is ready to find the family he’s been waiting for. At 19 weeks old, this beautiful boy is looking for a forever home of his own. 🐾
Comet can initially be shy but he is also gentle, loving and full of personality — intelligent, affectionate and always ready for his next adventure. He’s a quick learner who loves being involved in everything around him and is happiest when he’s spending time with his people. He listens to commands, has learnt where to go to the toilet and is now walking well on a lead.
He would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise, playtime and mental stimulation. Comet is incredibly people-focused and loves attention just as much as he loves fun and adventure.
He currently weighs around 6kg and is expected to grow to approximately 13-14kg, making him the perfect small-to-medium sized companion.
Comet is searching for a family who will cherish and guide him and make him a true part of everyday life. In return, he promises endless love, loyalty, laughter and companionship.
