Description
We are looking for a very special home for our beautiful tortoiseshell British Shorthair girl, who is just 2 years old and has now retired from breeding. She has been spayed and is ready to find a quiet, understanding home where she can truly relax and enjoy life.
She is an incredibly loving and affectionate cat once she has built trust, but she can be anxious around new people and unfamiliar environments. She is naturally cautious and hypervigilant, so she will need her own safe space and a patient owner who can give her the time she needs to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels secure, her sweet personality shines through.
She currently lives alongside both cats and dogs and is comfortable with them, although she is especially bonded to our own cats. For this reason, we feel she would be happiest either as the only pet or with one calm, friendly cat. We would not recommend a home with children, as sudden loud noises and busy environments can make her fearful.
She enjoys playtime and enrichment activities, especially feather toys, and loves having opportunities to explore outdoors occasionally in a safe environment. She will come with the food she is currently eating and her favourite toys to help make her transition as comfortable as possible.
This lovely girl deserves a home with someone who has the time, patience, and space to help her feel secure and loved. She is a wonderful cat with so much affection to give to the right person, and we are committed to finding her the perfect forever home. She comes with all her microchip papers and vaccination booklet.
