🐾 Molly – Looking for her forever home 🐾 It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking to find Molly a new home. This is through no fault of her own — she is a wonderful, loving and affectionate dog, but unfortunately our circumstances mean that we feel she would be happier and better suited to a home that can give her the time, space and training she needs. Molly is a young Belgian Malinois x Border Collie, so she is a naturally intelligent, energetic and high-drive dog. She is incredibly clever, loves attention and enjoys learning, but she does need someone who understands the needs of high-drive breeds and is prepared to continue working with her. She is fantastic with children and has never shown aggression. She is friendly with other dogs and gets on well with my parents' dogs, although she can become very excited and enthusiastic around them. She has a lovely temperament and is a very affectionate girl. We want to be completely honest that Molly is not a perfect, fully trained dog. She is still young and has areas that need continued work, particularly her barking, excitement levels and general training. We have had 1-to-1 training with her and have put a lot of effort into helping her, but unfortunately some of these behaviours have continued. Because of this, we would prefer Molly to go to someone with previous experience of high-drive breeds, who has the time, patience and commitment to continue her training and give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She would be best suited to someone who understands that taking on a young Malinois/Border Collie cross is a commitment and is willing to work with her rather than expecting a perfectly behaved dog from day one. She has so many amazing qualities and, with the right person, we genuinely believe she has the potential to thrive❤️ We are looking for a loving, experienced and permanent home for Molly, and finding the right person is much more important to us than simply finding her a home quickly.
