Description

Skye is simply an incredible dog. She is not only beautiful and good natured, playful, loyal, and friendly, but is very smart and easy to train. We recently brought Skye home from Derby and have loved having her, she’s handled a massive amount of change with ease. We’ve taken her to the pub, the beach multiple times, parks, piers, and more and been wonderful everywhere we’ve taken her. She’s been excellent with my two young children, very gentle and patient. She’s socialises well with other dogs and can be let off lead (getting her back on with a treat!). She’s knows basic commands of sit, stay/wait, lay down, and paw/shake. She is very food motivated but is respectful with people food. We would be keeping her, but for some reason she has taken a dislike to my dad in particular who stays with us half the year. He’s a big guy weight wise and I think she might be intimidated by him due to that. If it wasn’t for that, she wouldn’t be going anywhere as she’s genuinely a delight to be around and so sweet and funny. She is like a big goofy teenager and loves to play, go on car rides, and is house trained. She will communicate with you when she needs to go outside for that. Going to a good home where she will be safe, loved and appreciated is our top priority. She can go with her bed, harness, collar, lead, food, and toys.
