Meet Benji– An active Cockerpoo. Looking for His Forever Home
📍 Based in South Wales
🧸 Male | 1 years & 10 months old | Neutered. He will need to renew vaccinations.
Benji is a gorgeous, very active and cuddly boy. He has grown up around children so good with them. Only recently living with other dogs and cats, more about them below.
💛 Personality:
At home, he is a happy very busy, playful affectionate boy, and just wants to be close to his humans. He’s housetrained(may have accidents in his new home) he will wear disposable belly bands if needed, happy being left for a while only if he has company otherwise he will not settle and cry, he is not possessive over food or toys. Having said that he didn’t have to share so he doesn’t have the best manners yet although he is a fast learner. He loves his food so much I have given him a slow feeder, this is really only due to eating with other dogs. I have introduced him to nice treats he will take medication in cheese, if needed. So very trainable.
🚗 Life Skills:
He travels really well (although does get restless and sometimes whines so having a dog friend or human will help) he is learning that other dogs are not a free for all on food and toys. He loves to destroy toys, loves a good fetch game. Lead skills need work
🐶 Other Pets:
He is currently living with both cats and dogs. However he can be a little too full on for the cats so I will say no cats., unless they like to play. He is dog friendly and since being neutered the need to hump is slowly decreasing. Loves a good play.
🏡 What He Needs:
Benji would thrive in a very active home. He would possibly be great at scent work or even fly ball. He sleeps on my bed and loves to be close. Will want to be right next to his human. He will require grooming monthly. He would love friends as he loves to play.
