💔 Stella arrived in the UK in June, full of hope that she had finally found her safe place. And she did. She settled beautifully. She became part of the family. But sadly, circumstances have changed.
A family member’s Alzheimer’s and the current home environment has become very stressful and confusing for Stella. For a sensitive dog, too much uncertainty and emotional tension can become overwhelming, and her family decided that this is not a right for them and that in her best interests we need to find her a new home. Stella snapped twice at lady with Alzheimer’s and yesterday caught her lip. We are not aware of full picture what exactly happened. Stella is definitely not an aggressive dog, but confused and scared. We been told she often hides in crate and would not come out 🥲

Stella is a 2-year-old small-to-lower-medium girl with a naturally bobtail, a huge heart and a beautiful ability to bond deeply with her people.

💔 Rescue Story
Stella was found at the border in Ukraine. It is believed she was left behind by people fleeing the war, most likely because missing or incorrect documents made it impossible for her to cross the border with them. In the middle of chaos and uncertainty, Stella was simply left behind. Despite everything, she kept her trust in people.
🐾 More About Stella
Stella is such a loving little girl. Her current family says she has settled really well. She loves walks, loves people and loves dogs.
She was approaching people immediately — open, trusting, and ready to connect.
She was always a sweet velcro dog. She would follow you step by step, stays close to your legs and any minute ready to be on your laps, always wanting to be part of whatever you are doing. She loves cuddles, happily leans in for hugs, and enjoys physical closeness.
She is playful and active (but not hyper), loves toys, carries them around proudly, and invites you to join her.
She is friendly with other dogs off lead and enjoys their company. On lead, she is still building confidence and needs gentle, patient introductions to the outside world without being rushed.
For Stella, confidence about outer unknown world comes through trust. She doesn't need someone to push her into every new experience. She needs someone who will show her, step by step, that the world is safe.
At home, she is a funny little character too. At bedtime she happily follows her family upstairs, gives them a goodnight kiss... then decides her crate and bed downstairs are not quite as interesting as exploring the house! 😂
She usually settles downstairs and then around 4 am decides it's time to come upstairs and remind everyone that life is wonderful and maybe playtime should begin. ❤️
🏡 Ideal Home
Stella needs a calm home where she can feel secure. A family who understands sensitive dogs, gives her time and allows her confidence to grow naturally would be perfect.
A secure garden would be lovely, and another friendly dog would be a bonus, as Stella enjoys canine company. Most importantly, she needs stability, kindness and a peaceful environment where she can relax.
💞 Stella is one of those dogs who doesn't just live in your home...She becomes part of your world. She loves deeply, trusts deeply and gives so much back. Right now she urgently needs someone to be her safe place while her future family finds her. ❤️

All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (approved laboratory certificate provided).
