Sammy has been with her family since she was 10 weeks old. Due to a change in family circumstances her family cannot provide the level of training and stimulation Sammy needs anymore.
Sammy is very intelligent, high energy and driven. She loves to work when engaged and does best with clear structure, routine and purposeful exercise. She can be excitable and will jump up at visitors if not managed, so she needs someone confident setting boundaries and continuing her training.
OBEDIENCE: sit, down, stay, wait, spin, orbit, middle, “find it”.
WALKING: will pull on a flat collar, heels nicely with a grot/martingale.
IN THE HOME: Can be excited and jump up, easy fix if you have a good understanding of basic dog training.
HISTORY: Mild reactivity due to boredom and loss of structure, bite/nip history with previous owners due to frustration build up.
Sammy is a strong Malinois female with lots of ability, but she needs structure, time and an experienced handler. She will do best in a home where she is the main focus, with daily training and clear routines, without children.
